A feature of the automotive finance business over the last decade has been
the tendency for motor manufacturers to in-source the operation of their finance subsidiaries, in other words to bring them in-house where previously they had
been managed by a third party such as a bank. This, combined with some
high-profile mergers and acquisitions, has spawned the requirement for large-scale data migration projects.
